WhiteTrash? Could be. But hey it works!

We finally have a grill again! It might not look like what it once did. Oh it was beautiful! But hey it works now, and we have gone almost a year without a BBQ. The weather is beginning to be perfect again so it is time to start grilling. It may look a little white trash but oh well! Yummy food to come.

YMCA

After reading Lyndsey's blog I felt the need to share. They have recently opened a YMCA that is located on the school campus that I work at. I don't know what you know about the YMCA but I swear anytime I have heard about YMCA's it is known to be some kind of shelter for homeless people. This could be from growning up in Utah and I don't think they really have very many YMCA's. Anyways the YMCA that is here is basically a gym. A very nice gym.

Since I basically get my membership for free through my work Dusty decided that he would also get a membership. I am starting to realize that this is a good thing and a bad thing. This year I have been going to the gym more then I have ever before. I am realizing that after going I feel a lot better and my clothes actually fit a lot better go figure. Well now that Dusty is going he doesn't want to leave, he really won't. Dusty has been working out anywhere from 2 to 3 hours a day and he still wants to stay longer. Me on the other hand can't wait to get out of there. I have been doing Yoga, did a kickboxing class, and I am dying for when they begin their BodyPump classes so I can get into the rutine again.

I guess I felt like sharing this. I know it is hard to work out and get motivated to go to the gym because I have lived 27 years that way. If I am not working out with Dusty then I have several friends that are there, again the benefit for the gym to be on campus for all the students and faculty. It is always easier if you have a friend to be with you and to help motivate you. Dusty has been my motivation and I hope that we continue to keep this up.

Cardinals vs Panthers

I had Cardinals tickets last Sunday for when they played the Panthers...oh yeah the one where Warner threw 4 oh wait no 5 interceptions. I am starting to think that Cardinals really aren't that great of a team. But hey they tickets were free and we had a good time. Dusty was working and so I took Jaime with me.

This guy was begging us for our left over cheese fries and nacho's .. I think he enjoyed them way more then we did.

Clean Fridge...is it worth it? I THINK NOT!!

I hate to clean my fridge, that could be the reason why I never do it. Well yesterday I knew it had to be done, some strawberries had spilled and made a mess and we were having some friends for dinner so while Dusty ran to the store I got my cleaning hat on and started at the fridge. Just as I was finishing up I had the biggest glass shelf left to dry off, I had just washed it with hot water and let it air dry for a minute while I was putting the rest of the fridge back together. I had the back door open since the weather has been so nice I was letting the nice breeze come through the screen door.

How am I suppose to know that hot water, glass and a cold breeze do not mix well?? I started to dry off the glass when BOOM....glass went everywhere! I had just about enough yesterday, work was bad enough! Funny thing was when Dusty was putting the groceries away he kept forgetting there wasn't a shelf there and would go to set things in there and they would just fall to the bottom. He is so good, he wasn't mad and all he asked was if I was okay. I just kept saying I can't believe I did that, and all he said was "Well oh well, guess we will figure out how to get a new one."

Pooja's Birthday

Last week was our friend Pooja's Birthday, and we were able to have her and her boyfriend Pouria over for dinner. Over the weekend there were a bunch of us that went out for her birthday to celebrate. It was good to see some old frineds that just graduated, oh how I miss them.

Phoenix Fashion Week

Last week was Phoenix Fashion Week, after going to the fashion show a few weeks ago I knew I couldn't miss this. Fashion Week runs from Thursday to Saturday.
