ANother Christmas Party

Well another weekend down and another Christmas party over...Don't get me wrong I love Christmas Parties! I just feel like we have so many, and so much happening in December. I love the month of December: Dusty's birthday, and then my birthday, and then Christmas, before I know it, it is over and we are in January already.

Getting to the Christmas party... This was EDR Christmas party. E-lite D-esert R-ealty. It was at Dave's house and it was fun! They did dinner then did a white elephant gift exchange. As we all know the real estate market isn't doing so hot, so we had to bring a gift from home, something that you no longer wanted, wrap it and that would be your gift to give. We gave away a wedding gift that we no longer use we only took one gift because Dusty didn't tell me about this gift exchange until we were walking out the door to the party. Well he ended up with "BALD GUYS HEAD WIPES." There was a lot of funny things, and we had a good time.

Dr Holexa's Christmas Party

Saturday night was Dr Holexa's Christmas Party. He has it a pizza place called Old Chicago's in Mesa. It was a lot of fun. I guess last year was a lot more entertaining but we had a good time. THANKS DR H!

Dusty's 29th Birthday

Dusty's Birthday was last Friday...WOW I can't believe how old HE is getting. THE BIG 29! I told him that I can't believe that next year he is gonna be 30. He didn't like that comment. For his birthday he wanted to stay in and have me cook. Most of you know that I NEVER COOK, like EVER. I made him Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and made him a birthday cake. He didn't even have to leave the house all day, which he enjoyed. I had to take some pictures of my masterpieces that I MADE in the kitchen. (Since it is a rare occasion)

Jessica's 41 Hour visit

For those of you who don't know, my best friend is Jessica. We have know each other since Junior High but didn't like each other until High School. I still wonder what kind of trouble we could have gotten into during those three years, but I think we are both, along with our parents glad that we never had those extra years together. Now instead of our parents worrying about us every time the two of us are together our husbands get to do the worrying...Sorry Dusty and Rusty. Oh yeah, and she married a guy named Rusty and ACORSE I am married Dusty so I think it was all meant to be. Anyways Jessica comes twice a year and stays at the Hyatt downtown for work. So twice a year I get to go and play with Jessica while she is in town... most the time she is only here for about 48 hours and this time it was even less. I was happy to play with Jessica, even if i was only a few hours. I only got a few pictures because ACORSE my camera died. MISS YA JESS!

"ACORSE"

The other day I was working or at least pretending to and I kept spelling the word "ACORSE" and acorse it kept coming up that the word was spelled wrong. I get this often when I spell acorse but always figure that I am smarter then the spell check and so I leave it be. So getting back to working I started asking the girls that I work with how is the correct way to spell acorse? And they said "O F C O U R S E" I told them I know that is how you spell "OF COURSE" but I need to spell "ACORSE" Well as you may know I was disappointed to find out that there is no such word as "ACORSE" I told this story to Dusty the other day and he told me that I should be embarrassed and shouldn't be telling anyone this story. I told him no, we need to make this a word and put it in the dictionary. I don't know how to go about that and don't think I really want to put that much effort into making this a word but I will continue to use it as if it was a word. If anyone ever questions it I say and will always say "Well I did graduate from LEHI HIGH! So give me a break."
