More of Santa Barbara

Well since I lost my camera I have to steal everyone else's pictures from our weekend in Santa Barbara, so here are a few that have popped up here and there

First night in SB...great food, great fun and great weather all weekend. I had forgotten what it was like to wear a jacket.

Night before the big DAY we got to hang out with the bride and groom, We were all back together again first time since graduation.

Ok this guy, with the arrows pointing him out was a CREEPER. He just sat on the beach and stared at all these girls he even had the nerve to ask one of them to put sunscreen on his body...EWW! We took some pictures of him in case he appears on DATELINE..you know the predator ones.

Robyn and Rob's Wedding July 18, 2009

Over the last weekend we went to Santa Barbara to see our good friends Robyn and Rob get married! We know these two from my work they were both students and now they are both Dentists. They are so down to earth and their relationship is so much like mine and Dusty's that we all just blend together. Their wedding was gorgeous, I had so many great pictures but after their wedding I missed placed my camera along with all of my pictures. I feel really lost right now without my camera, it is pretty much always attached to me. I had to borrow some pictures from some friends, but at least it shows how pretty the wedding was.

Lake Powell Trip

Ok this wasn't Lake Powell but this was right before the river, Lyndsey came down and we were able to go to the river. It was so much fun

My two Chef's

Two chef's that I don't think I could live without....

This guy Chris Bianco is the guy that own's Pizzeria Bianco. That place is so good, he let me and Dusty go back and take a picture with him. We have been to Pizzeria Bianco before and every time it is amazing. This time Dusty showed up at 4 it doesn't open til 5 and we got seated just past 7!

This is when Chris was on the Opera show with Gayle Oprah's BFF there.

Jimmy Kimmel had him on his show, he was also in Martha Stewart Magazine but I can't find a phot.

Out back they had this cute little old Lemonade stand and so I made Dusty take a picture with me. Thank goodness for self timers

BEST Pulled Pork Plate

My mom and Fred were here last week and when it came time to decide where to go to dinner Dusty suggested another 50's Best Dishes. Pulled Pork Plate from Joe's Real BBQ. We have had this before but have never gone to the actual restaurant, usually we go to places that have it catered. We walked into the restaurant and my mom leans over to me and said "I think you chose a perfect place for Fred." When I looked over and saw the John Deere Tractor sitting in the middle of the restaurant I knew what she was talking about.

Whether on a plate or a bun, the pecan-smoked pulled pork here is a crowd-pleaser. It’s lean yet juicy and full of flavor even before sauce touches it. Give up on the gristly, gamey stuff elsewhere and do as the locals do.

Dusty of course got the Pulled Pork, I went with the chicken sandwich. Oh yeah and that Mac and Cheese that is off to the side...TO DIE FOR! They both were really good!

I forgot to get a picture of all of our food, we were enjoying our dinner with my Mom and Fred and it slipped my mind. But at least we got a picture with the John Deere... Thanks for coming with us mom and Fred and thanks again for dinner!

ASDOH Class of 2009 Graduation Week

WOW what a week! I am so sad it is over but then I don't know if I could make it through one more day. Dusty keeps asking when we are going to be able to just sit home and I think we will be able to soon! I had to post all these pictures I am sorry but I took over 200 for the week of good times that I will never forget. A lot of these new DMD's I won't be seeing for a while and it is going to be very weird around work. These students have been some of our best friends over the past two years. We will miss them!
